17 (trip) Tahoe Backcountry Skiing #2 Start: 01/16/2010 1:00 pm End: 01/17/2010 1:00 pm Come join us for our second of the Tahoe Backcountry Skiing Series. We will ski wherever we can find the best snow, with the target always being fresh deep powder. Requires advanced skiing skills (resort black diamond+), avalanche training. Randonee or Telemark skis, climbing skis, avalanche beacon, shovel, and probe.	18	19	20	21	22 (trip) Ostrander Hut Start: 01/22/2010 1:00 pm Ski into the historic and scenic Ostrander Ski Hut in Yosemite's backcountry, the finest backcountry ski hut in the Sierras. I have a permit for 6 people from Friday Jan 22 - Sunday Jan 24. Cost is $50/night/person for the bunk + cost of common commissary. Ostrander is a 10-mile ski in from the Badger Pass ski area, 6 miles of which are on the Glacier Point Road - a prepared surface.
